I'm now accepting commissions for custom artwork. Whether you're looking for a unique piece for your home or a special gift, I’d love to collaborate with you to bring your vision to life.

What details do you need from me?

To begin, please provide the following:

 •  Preferred size and orientation (vertical or horizontal)

 •  Subject of the artwork

 •  Timeline or deadline, if applicable

How does pricing and payment work?

Pricing is based on the size of the artwork. Below is my pricing guide.
A 50% deposit is required to start your commission, with the remaining 50% due upon completion.

  •  11”x14” – $380 + $25 Shipping

 •  16”x20” – $600 + $30 Shipping

 •  18”x24” – $860 + $30 Shipping

 •  24”x36” – $1700 + $50 Shipping

 •  24”x48” – $2000 + $100 Shipping

 •  30”x40” – $2100 + $100 Shipping

Commission Process

  1. Send me an email at Kathy@KathyLycka.com and I’ll respond within 24 hours.
  2. Confirm Details: We’ll confirm the size, subject, and timeline for your piece.
  3. Deposit: A 50% deposit is required to begin the process.
  4. Sketch: You’ll receive pencil sketches within one week of receiving your deposit.
  5. Approval: Review the sketches and approve them before I begin painting.
  6. Painting: I’ll start painting and send you photos once it’s complete.
  7. Final Approval: After you approve the final painting (including any revisions), I’ll send you an invoice for the remaining balance.
  8. Shipping: Once the balance is paid, I’ll carefully pack and ship your painting with full insurance.

When will my commission be finished?

Turnaround time is typically 3 to 4 weeks. Smaller pieces may be ready sooner. I’ll provide a more specific timeline once we’ve connected and discussed the details.
