My addiction to texture and colour has resulted in art with a surface quality full of movement and light. I am enchanted by Louis Comfort Tiffany’s stained glass pieces and this has been a huge influence in my current series of artwork.
My paintings are a reflection on the process of creation. For me, each twirl of the paintbrush is a way to come back to the present moment, a way to slow down and feel each movement with greater intensity and appreciation. While the finished product will always be only steps away, it is important to embrace each moment.
My Passion as an Artist
I remember bringing home my first piece of fine art from an artist I had been following for years. I loved the process - wrestling with the decision of what painting would be the best fit for my space and feeling excited but also a little nervous about making such a big purchase. I had fallen so in love with the painting; I was worried someone else was going to buy it! Taking it home, spending the extra time to hang it in just the perfect spot and smiling each time I passed it, I knew I had made the right choice. This is how I want you to feel when you purchase one of my unique pieces of art.
I go to bed every night thinking about my artwork and wake up excited to get back in the studio. This is one of the main driving forces in my life. I feel a great deal of joy and bliss during the creation process and believe this energy is captured within each brush stroke.
I want to make your purchase of art as fun, worry-free and memorable as possible.
I know that galleries and exhibitions can sometimes be intimidating when looking to purchase art. I work out of a home based studio and am available to answer any questions you have big or small.
With each purchase of my original paintings I include a signed certificate of authenticity and a care of artwork handout. This will provide you with some tips and tricks on hanging and cleaning your new piece of artwork.
Beware: unless a certificate of authenticity originates from and is signed by either the artist who created the art, the publisher of the art, a confirmed established dealer or agent of the artist, the certificate is pretty much meaningless.
The protection of your art is top priority for me. I take a great deal of care in packaging the artwork when shipping – bubble wrap and filler, all neatly packed into a sturdy box. In the rare event that your artwork arrives with any damage, please call me immediately.
I offer a 100% money back guarantee within the first 14 days of purchase. Your satisfaction and my goal is to bring a smile to your face when you look at one of
